Healthy Start® is the new line of preformed orthodontic devices that, complementing the existing range, identifies a philosophy of interceptive treatment aimed at the functional rebalancing of the child.
Most malocclusions found in the growing patient have a multifactorial etiology, with a decisive contribution from environmental factors and, among them, respiratory disorders.
Healthy Start® focuses on the treatment of bad habits at an early age in order to prevent oro-functional and general disorders that can cause or derive from malocclusion problems.
A device proven effective also for correcting vicious habits, now available in different variants.
Habit Corrector® Kids+ is recommended for children aged 5-8 years and is used immediately after the eruption of the 1st molar.
Habit Corrector® should generally be used for a period of 1 - 6 months, depending on the case to be treated (but can be used even longer).
Both daily (1-2 hours) and nighttime use are recommended
